HERE IS the Pocket Full of Memories Story...
Wandering, gathering and capturing memories. Holding deep within my heart words that are said, hugs given and gifts exchanged. This is how I journey through the rough, rocky and tougher moments. I remember, I revisit and I remind myself of those things, people and moments that have brought joy to my heart, peace to my soul and refreshment to my spirit. Each of these little pockets of colour hold a drawing of a botanical memory. They document the sweetness of those moments. I could fill pages and pages.
Know that you hold many pockets of precious moments. A kind word. A thoughtful gift. A generous smile or shared tear. An encouraging letter, email or text. A sweet act of help or shared sunset, forest or ocean. Treasure these. Write them down. Capture them close. These are hope. These are light. These are goodness. These are strength.
Remind one another of these with a "Remember when...." We need to be one another's memory banks. We need to help one another to recall the good, the funny, the great, the overcoming, the surviving and the triumphs. They are what strength is built on, what hope grows from and where courage rises.
So friends, today, be someones memory bank. Send them a "remember when..." reminder.
