This was my heart cry this morning as my kids struggled to meet in the middle of a disagreement today.... please let's just love each other, give grace generously, speak kindly and look for the good in one another. There is always something we can find to love in each other. As I spoke these words with as much gentleness and patience as I could muster.... His voice spoke into my heart, will you do this too Kim? Live this. You never arrive in loving people, you can always love more, there is no lid on love. Love people today. Hunt for the good, like a miner digging for gold. They believe it's there so they don't stop until it is uncovered. I am challenged to do the same. Love with a shovel, digging through the dirt to find the incredible gold in people.
